Clue Solver

The Clue solver is designed to help deduce the details of the crime for the game of Clue. The initial setup is performed by entering the names of the players below. Once the players' names and properties have been submitted, assign the cards you have been dealt by clicking the names (or checking the checkboxes) of your cards. Next, click the button below your name on the row for assigning cards to an individual.

After setup, each suggestion can be entered by selecting the suggested cards, selecting the players (or checking the checkboxes) who could not disprove it, and by clicking the appropriate button below the player who disproved the suggestion (or clicking the not disproved button if no one could disprove the suggestion). If it is your turn and another player disproves your suggestion, the card that was shown to you can be entered after the suggestion has been submitted by selecting the card and assigning it to the player by clicking the button below their name for assigning cards to that individual.

The solver can perform different levels of deduction. These levels are described below and can be adjusted by clicking the desired level in the list (the current level is the one that cannot be clicked):

  1. Deduce nothing, only assigned cards will be shown
  2. Deduce cards based on who could not disprove suggestions
  3. Deduce cards based on analysis, including suggestions disproved
